Abalos Announcement Time
Sorry to disappoint some of you, but there's no baby yet. :)
We do have some exciting news though. Zeb and I are making our first big move, clear to the other side of the USA!
Some may know that we took a lovely trip up to Seattle, WA in May to celebrate our first year anniversary. We didn't just go to celebrate though... we had in mind that Seattle might be an area we'd like to live for the next season of our lives.
So we were also going to get some confirmation if it'd be good for us.
Something pretty awesome happened while we were there. We met a friend of a friend, who's family is moving to Japan for 6 months (November - April). When they first offered for us to house-sit, we thought "hey, this is cool," but we knew we couldn't count on it yet. And turns out, someone they had previously offered the house-sitting to had chimed in and said yes to the opportunity. We didn't think too strongly of it. We knew God would have something else for us. However, all week long, while we were enjoying seattle, this family had a strong feeling in their heart that they were supposed to give us the opportunity to house-sit.
Before any of this came up, we had the idea that we'd want to possibly move in November.
We are just so thankful God can do such awesome things like this! We have a beautiful home to live in for 6-months, rent-free. Imagine what it'd be like to have to rent an apartment somewhere not knowing the area too well and then have to move everything out again once you find a house you want to buy. What a gift God's given us. We're so excited, we can save up money, look for a house of our own, and focus on some hobbies during that time!
Not to mention, take some time to find the part of town we'd ideally like to live in!
Anyways, we didn't have a particularly strong call to move to Seattle, but what we felt from God is that it would be a good thing for us. And that he will bless it. We've been feeling for awhile now such a struggle it is for us to fit in Sarasota. It's been quite hard for us in many ways. Especially with both our artistic passions, we've been hitting a roadblock for sometime.
And lastly, Florida is not really our cup of tea.
We love the white sand beach, but we crave the mountains, trees, and hills!
Ooo, don't get me started on how beautiful Washington is :)

Please pray for our move :) We're already starting to pack and oh man, it's stressful ;)
Trying to figure out what to take and sell/giveaway is a tough one.
We don't have a set date yet, but we are moving sometime in mid-November.
It's an exciting journey we're on and we can't wait to see what God has for us coming this year!
Thanks for reading about our update!

Epcot lovin on Film
I had never been to Epcot before, so this was a treat. I brought my new (at the time) Japanese Juice Box camera which I have just absolutely fallen in love with after getting these photos developed. Disney was the perfect setting for it!
