Today we say goodbye to our first home as a couple. As excited as I am for new beginnings and a new home in Washington, I will really miss our pretty view. Just outside our apartment is a giant oak tree and a gorgeous little lake. There are always squirrels and ducks to watch. It's such a great place to take walks or just lay in the grass. Three years ago, Zeb brought me back some beautiful rocks from La Push beach in WA as a gift. We decided to toss them into the lake in remembrance of our first home. Even though we will be far away in Washington or who knows, maybe one day in Italy or the Philippines (yay!), a little part of us and sweet memories will still remain here in Sarasota.
