Time's a changing...

For five months now, our hearts have been set on Seattle. And for eight, we've longed to be elsewhere. We made the decision that in November we would somehow begin our new journey. This whole time I just knew it would creep up on us too fast.

Here we are, October 5: 25 days 'til we move out of our apartment and 41 'til we hit the road. We are feeling it. It's starting. Our calendar is crazy full and there's still more to squeeze in! There's 25 days to sell/rid of all our furniture and things we aren't bringing. I just don't feel like I can do it all. They say moving is one of life's most stressful scenarios. I've experienced it before, but nothing like this. To the other side of the USA by car, with many of our belongings. It's not the same thing as moving from the Philippines to the states with just a large suitcase. That's a pretty big move in its own way, but so different.

Something I'm excited to see amidst all the packing and planning, is God's faithfulness shining. We don't really know what's waiting for us on the other side of this transition. Each day it's a challenge to trust he's got so much goodness in store. Deep down, I know he does. By the end of this, I hope we can look back and tangibly understand the great worth of having faith in his promise.

These are exciting times... a new season, a new journey awaits us!
